Benefits from mastery of the English language

G'day, what are you up to? Today, I am going to explain the benefits from mastery of the English language. It doesn't mean that you have to achieve it perfectly, but at least reach the condition where you are capable of expressing yourself freely without a significant degree of supervision.

Benefit 1: You will meet new friends who are passionate about learning English or in the same boat. I believe there will have the synergy between them, which is very beneficial. You will be somehow surprised how you might be perceived by others. Usually you'll receive a positive reaction from others unless you are not complacent too much.

Benefit 2: You're able to make a global network community via social networking service such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. If you speak only your own language, it's hardly going to make it happen. In contrast, if you speak English, numerous opportunities will be available for you. You don't have to be native-like English, but you might want to master "Globish", if you like.

Interestingly, Japanese is higher than Chinese. I thought the opposite, I reckon. Anyway, knowing English makes your life so much easier when it comes to gathering any latest information and news. Of course, you can't just read and accept everything, you need to be able to think critically about what you are reading all the time as something might be biased. Good to learn!!

Benefit 4: You will find an unexpected or unimaginable hobby that you would otherwise never think about. Because you are reading, listening, writing and speaking English, you might have different experiences everyday. For instance, you've reached a certain level of the English language, and you just wanted to make friends who are from different countries, so you've joined a Ikebana club. And, although you've never interested in this field, but you're now infatuated with practising Ikebana. That's how mastery of the English language takes you to this unexpected hobby.

Benefit 5: Assuming you used to be very shy in front of people in your hometown, you're now, to some extent, endowed with tremendous communication skills, because mastery of the English language gives you confidence of speaking in public. Of course it's not applicable to everyone, but many of you. I don't think the whole characterisation of yourself will change, but at least you should be able to say your honest opinions with confidence.

Undoubtedly, the English language is still the most dominated language in the world. So, why don't you learn English and have a good command of it? I am an online English tutor, so if you have any further instruction or queries, please feel free to contact me via email or leave your comments here.

Have a good one mate.
