Hi guys. How's it going? Do you seriously wanna increase the number of vocabulary? How are you learning on a daily basis? I suppose the vast majority of English learners are putting considerable effort into memorising vocabulary randomly. If you do continue to do so, then it's gonna be extremely difficult to put them into practice like conversing with someone, or writing a piece of sentences without having a look at a dictionary. Let's dive in.
First and foremost, memorising English vocabulary at random is preordained to be in vain, unfortunately. Please keep in mind the fact that just memorising vocabulary in your head won't guide you to "practicality" as you probably don't know the usage of the words. And, also it's gonna be so hard to learn how to paraphrase the words in your writing or speaking due to the lack of knowledge of derivatives. On top of that, there are many other factors behind your learning style. How should we ameliorate this? Well, it's dead simple, or learning etymology.
When it comes to etymology, what you should be learning are basic prefixes and suffixes as well as word roots. How could we learn those things? Please refer to this file below:

But the easier it is the better and quicker you'll be able to master it in a short period of time. Why is etymology so important for boosting English vocabulary? Well, this is because that getting a better understanding of how both prefixes and suffixes function when it comes to paraphrasing. Knowing all derivatives make your life so much easier. For instance, if you know -al, ial and ical, then the number of adjectives in your head is gonna be skyrocketing spectacularly for sure. So, you should learn suffixes first, which are more useful than prefixes when it comes to paraphrasing.
