How're ya, everyone? Are you talking to yourself in English?

Happy new year, folks! I haven't got a particular resolution for 2024, but if I dare to say something in terms of this, well, I reckon I'm hoping to get my small English teaching business much bigger than 2023. Yes, this could be considered to be my resolution, but I don't wanna say this at this time of the year, because there'll be no guarantee, which, in other words, is unpredictable under such a volatile circumstance, right? What am I talking about right now? Oh, sorry mate, I'm just talking to myself, so don't worry about me. Please just let me be myself! If you want to improve English skills, then why don't we practise self-talk instead of meaninglessly procrastinating.

The most important thing about embarking on self-talk in English is make sure you at least try to speak up something continuously without having too much odd pause, being stuck in saying something that you wanna say, and repeating the same things again and again. These three erroneous things have to be minimised. But, of course, nobody can do so until at least quasi-mastering English grammar and pronunciation. This is always what I'm trying to underscore when I have a chance to dwell on English.

Having the ability to talk to yourself in English is undoubtedly onto a winner, because obvisouly doing so along with a certain level of confidence means that you might have mastered or semi-mastered grammar and pronunciation required for speaking. I mean, self-talk in English must be associated with four aspects of English proficiency; speaking, writing, reading and listening. You always try your best to be able to construct grammatically accurate sentences with precise sounds, which is one of the must-focus things to practise. For myself, I also try to polish and refine my English skills whereby I talk to myself in English as much as I can.

If you need some tips how to do self-talk, then please scroll down my English blog pages, so that you can find the ones I mentioned and discussed this particular topic. You can freely refer them to your learning journey. I hope they help a lot. Otherwise, please hit me up, so that I can set up a Google Meet meeting with you, and then I'll see how I can be of any assistance for you.

Thanks for reading my blog as always. I'll see you around! Ta.
