Hi everyone, what are you up to? I always try to keep my own diary, because I know this is extremely beneficial for improving my English proficiency. This can also be applied to everyone, right? You don't need to think about the applicability of whether writing a dairy or not, which is a kinda nonsensical sentiment. Today, I just wanna briefly touch upon this sorta thing, which is how to write a 'Self-talk diary'. I do believe this is just a piece of cake, or straightforward. Let me write my one here.

September 6th, 2023

My dear myself,

I write something to myself today. This morning I woke up at 5am as usual, which is my go-to waking-up time. Most alarming, I'd say, are preordained to be canceled prior to the alarming going off. The thing is, technically I do not need them, but nonetheless I just wanna make sure I do not miss any early morning teaching tasks, which by the way I have never ever missed any due to overslept in my entire life. Now that the spring is here, and the summer is just around the corner, so I'm hoping my mood and life style won't be affected by the rhythm of the seasons.

Are you with me so far? Yes, definitely I am. I asked myself to spoil me with some treats, and until I informed myself I'd barely left my home office, it was some comfort to imagine me sitting on my cosy foot stool in my dining and living seating areas whilst I myself prepared my morning tea. In my mind, I am still not too old, wearing a greyish-white hoodie and a simple monotonous black tee, both of which are a kinda my go-to daily attire. However, this morning I couldn't recall which one I should have worn. This conceivably proves that I am getting older and older, which is an inescapable trajectory for human beings by nature. Does this make sense? I hope it does.

Immediately after having some nibbles this morning, I went back to my office to resume my teaching tasks until noon. I always think that no one can buy time by cash, credit card, or utilise any other alternative payment systems. Time is not only precious, but also indispensable to forgiving my unforeseen blind eye.
