G'day. It's getting cooler after yesterday's heavy rain here in Canberra. The day ends very fast in the fall, doesn't it? There is a hint of Autumn in the morning air, right?

Tomorrow's gonna be the last day for Daylight saving (Summer Time), which means that Autumn season is approaching now. Today, I am going to talk about a variety of expressions in relation to the use of the word 'Autumn'. Autumn is presumably one of the best harvest seasons throughout the year.

First up, a crisp fall or autumn, which means that you feel a bit chilly, but comfortable wearing your usual clothes or garments and going for a short stroll outside. The leaves of trees around you turn red in the autumn. We're gonna be fancy going out for watching splendiferously beautiful trees. It is now going to be well [deep] into the fall here in Canberra. To be honest with you, I love living in Canberra! Despite all of us being forced to practise self-isolation (iso), we still can see a beautiful scenery from windows at home.

Second up, Autumn is a season for a hearty appetite. Personally speaking, I'm into having a wide range of different veggies along with fish, which is my favourite combination when it comes to seasonal cooking. Unfortunately, this iso period does not allow us to go shopping very often, so it's gonna be quite difficult for us to get seasonal fish at the moment. But, our house owner has got a huge veggie garden outside, which is fantastic!! So, even though we cannot go shopping, there are still choices for us to cook something splendid with a variety of veggies. We can make 'veggie Tempura', 'veggie Donburi' = veggie rice bowl and so on.

Last up, The fall is the best season for reading. This is genuinely true as we don't get to used to reading books under extreme weather conditions such as very hot summer and nippy winter. We can enjoy reading books during the long nights of the fall [on long autumn nights]. As for me, I've in fact piled up a couple of books both on my desk and on the bookshelf, so I should like to peruse them during this supercalifragilistic season!!
