Online eikaiwa won't work out at all unless you start fundamentals of the English language simultaneously

Hi guys, how are you going? Happy new year to you all. This year 2023 is gonna be like I have to put more effort to boost the number of subscribers (1K) and total number of hours (4000 hrs) on my YouTube channel. This is my resolution this year. But of course there are lots of others as well in order to make sure that my own small business runs smoothly and profitably as it should be. Have you got your own resolutions? Please let me know in the comments below.

By the way, if you don't know me well, then let me introduce myself to you. My name is Masato, but when it comes to YouTube channel, "Masato's Aussie Life" is my commercial name, and I've been running my own small online teaching business approximately 2 and a half years so far. It's been alright in terms of at least having a small number of clients per month. I love learning and teaching at the same time, you know. Just teaching is preposterous, isn't it? Learning new things day by day throughout teaching is one of the most important things in my life. And also, this is the most enjoyable moment I've ever experienced. How about you guys? Are you enjoying your life so far? What are you doing right now? I'm just stoked about hearing what you guys are doing on a daily basis.

Anyway, my main discussion topic is: why is online eikawa meaningless if you are not studying the basics of English, which encompasses pronunciation, grammar as well as etymology. Well, simply put, you can't technically start saying any English sentence, even words without knowing any English fundamentals. I'm not dissing anybody spending their precious time and money on it, but nonetheless, it's safe to say that you are wasting them unfortunately. To maximise the possibility of getting benefits from online eikaiwa, you've gotta understand and at least semi-master English pronunciation, grammar and etymology before embarking on it. At least, you should kickstart both eikaiwa and fundamentals at the same time, which is the only you can defend yourself from encountering horrendous and embarrassing consequences. If you know all basics, then there won't be any issue at all when it comes to doing online eikaiwa. And, of course I don't criticise anything about it. Nevertheless, personally I don't think online eikaiwa is necessary under any circumstances, if you wish to become a fluent English speaker.

Ultimately, what you should be doing are just twofold: one is "talking to yourself in English"; another is "read aloud English sentences", both of which are succinctly what I'm doing all the time when I'm free. Somone tends to kind of underestimate the effectiveness of both learning methods. Yes definitely there are some pros and cons, but nonetheless they cannot be overestimated when it comes to boosting your confidence and oral fluency as well as fixing pronunciation. I'm pretty sure that you are going to achieve them in a short period of time if you are committed to more input learning.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading my blog. And, I'll talk to you guys soon.
