The easiest solution to improving oral fluency

2022年11月12日

G'day mate! How's it going? Today, what I am going to be talking about is the easiest solution to improving oral fluency in English. This is unflatteringly sensational, isn't it? Well, such the solution does not exist on this planet. Hahaha. Sorry, I'm kidding. What do you reckon? Let's get a bit dive into it, shall we?

For me, at least, the easiest solution to ameliorating my oral fluency in English would be to talk to myself, which has consistently and solely been one of the solutions out there. First and foremoest, you will never rectify any aspect of your English ability if you don't practise at all. How straightforward is it? So, even though I've been residing in Canberra, Australia such a long time, I simply think there's so much room for improvement in terms of my 4 skills of the English language. Therefore, I'm always trying to polish my spoken skills, in particular. This is because that I do believe that spoken skills are the linchpin of developing any sorta language.

Ok, I got it. How should we practise, then, what if I'm not really confident and adept at speaking per se? Well, obvisouly you've got to make sure that I learn basic vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, right? Without them, I'm 100 % sure that you won't be able to grapple/wrestle with improptu in English. You got it? So, yes indeed, the reason being is you haven't systematically studied any fundamentals in the first place. Understandably, cracking such basics aren't that easy if you haven't got the gut to tackle and make strenuous effort to study even if there's no choice/alternative but to significantly cut down on your leisure time. I do believe no elite or smartest person like Elon Musk can be produced without making any sacrifice of one's free time.

Sorry to digress a bit from what I've been mentioning, but yes, you should talk to yourself in English, which is one of the best ways to boost your oral fluency after smashing the basics. Of course, talking to native speakers is undeniably beneficial for anyone wishing to improve; however, if your basic knowledge and skills are not really embedded into your whole body, then embarking on such an online eikaiwa is unfortunately going to be in vain. When it comes to building up the basics and boosting oral fluency with solid pronunciation, you don't really need anyone's assistance. This is just technically possible, but nonetheless there would be an exception in some cases including someone being already entrenched in a misunderstanding or misperception of, e.g., pronunciation and grammatical rules. They are, by the way, going to be extremely difficult to be solved without leaning on an expert's supervision.

For instance, I've been supervising such things online via Google Meet. This is Not such a stealth marketing, because I was in the same boat like you guys. I know how hard/daunting we should knuckle down the basics first. So my curent or lifetime sense of duty is to bequeath my past experience to the next generation.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading my ditty. Chao.
